BookTour | Review | Never Tear Us Apart | Monica Murphy

Crazy how eight years can disappear in an instant. One look at Katie Watts, and I'm a fifteen-year-old again-the one who risked everything to save a terrified girl from her twisted kidnapper. She's grown-up now--beautiful, quiet, composed--and telling her story to the world. A story that involves me in more ways than you can imagine. She used to call me her guardian angel. Sure, I
risked my life, but she was worth dying for. I need to make contact with her. Just to ensure that she's safe. Somehow we reconnect.
We become friends . . . but I want more. I want to make her mine. And she wants me too. Does she know who I am? Has she figured me out? Not yet. But she will. In the meantime, I need to make sure that whatever hold that animal had on her is gone. So, yeah, I'm stealing these moments with her. Savoring them. Knowing, dreading, that she'll soon find out who I really am. And everything will fall
apart. All because of that twisted, perverted monster sitting on death row. Her kidnapper.
A convicted serial killer.
My father.

Monica Murphy is a writer that I really appreciate, and to be honest I've been very pleased to be selected as one of the first readers of this new story.
I was not disappointed. This story is one of the that I've read last year, and I'm not just saying that to look good.
This book tells us the the story of Katherine and Will/Ethan. Katie as suffered a major trauma when she was only twelve years old. She was abducted and rappedin regular basis for three days until she was found by Will - the kidnapper's son - who helped her to escape from a terrible faith.
Now, eight years passed by and now we meet a traumatized young woman, without Will, and a Will that got over his mean father (now caught and in prision) and changed his name and identity. Now he is Ethan, a very atractive young man who learned to live like a new person and tried by all means to forget his father - Aaron William.
It was not an easy step to take, but it made him to be on track and also made a great difference when he saved Katie eight years ago.Afte all those years they meet again, but the thing is that she doesn't know that Ethan was Will, the same boy that risked his own life to save her. At his father's hands, she lost all her childhood, all her innocence, but never lost the desire and the will to comeover and be a normal young woman with hopes and dreams . It is Will/Ethan who is going to help her, once again, to find normalcy and to learn to trust again. He will show her how a victim can also be a winner. It's Will's and Ethan's love and protection that'll give her the power to overcome the past and build a whole new future.
Monica Murphy once again brings us an amazing story under fantastic characters, full of strenght and strong emotions.
Can't wait to read the second volume of this amazing story!
Thank you Monica for one more excelent book!
