I made one mistake…
And she made one phone call that nearly destroyed my life.
I’ve spent the past year plotting my revenge and imagining all the wicked things I’d do to her when our paths finally crossed again.
I just had no idea it would be so soon.
The last thing I expected when I re-entered the world was to find myself right in the middle of hers.
The girl who betrayed me, the snitch who ruined me—here for the taking.
While she’s been oblivious here in Rosewood, I’ve been trapped in hell.
Better watch your back, Harley Hunter.
You’re about to be owned by a Legend.

This really was a great way to end this amazing Rosewood High series. Tracy Lorrain, once again, made my day with this great, great story.
Throughout this series we had access to Harley, Zayn's younger sister. A girl full of charisma and endowed with a huge heart despite all the difficulties she went through when she lived in the most problematic neighborhood in the city.
With a super dedicated and focused mother, they manage to turn their life around when they moved to live in the most recommended part of the city. Rosewood. As such, both she and Zayn are obviously at Rosewood High School, where everything happens and where you can meet all kinds of young people. The rich, the intelligent, the sportsmen, the charming, the attractive and even those who enjoy making them look more like the others who walk there. Of course, both Zayn and Harley are part of the group of good guys, although it can sometimes seem that they are a little silly from time to time. It is part of growth.
This last book in the series brings us the story between Kyle Legend and our Harley. A misunderstanding a year ago and with a little "help" from Harley, Kyle was arrested for illegal possession of narcotics, although the reason the police were there was another. A year later, Kyle is released and thinks of nothing but revenge and showing Harley how badly she did him when she remembered to call the police that night.
Although she is aware that she shouldn't have done what she did, she is also sure that things could have gone very badly if she hadn't. So there's not much more to her than trying to get on with her life even if Kyle makes life very difficult for her. She has a boyfriend who adores her, but whenever she remembers what happened to Kyle she feels something different and is unable to completely surrender to Nathan, her boyfriend. The fact that Kyle and Zayn are best friends also doesn't help for them to be apart eachother.
This is a story full of anguish, fears, traumas and emotions. I wasn't able to let go until I didn't finish and I'm glad I persisted on the reading. Kyle Legend is, in fact, a young man full of insecurities although he tries to convey an image of self-confidence. He rarely lets anyone catch a glimpse of the loving and caring boy he knows and can be when he understands it.
Harley and Kyle have known each other since childhood and, at some point, the clash between the two was inevitable. Each other's personalities and the tension between the two has always felt like fireworks about to burst.
I could be here all day talking to you about this book, but it would always be little and it would only serve to take away the magic of discovering how this stunning series ends.
Don't miss the previous ones too!
